Chase Says You Pay If Your AI Agent Moves Your Money
Major US banks are finding outside AI agents inside customer accounts, Axios reported on October 22, 2026. Chase, Citi, Bank of America, Schwab and Morgan Stanley are restricting them. Chase's own terms say that if you let an AI agent use your login, you are responsible for what it does.
