For a first smart telescope, buy the ZWO Seestar S30 Pro: $699 on ZWO's US store on November 7, 2026, with a small tripod in the box. The Seestar S50 Pro ($999) has a bigger 50 mm lens and a longer battery rating. The DWARFLAB DWARF 3 ($549) and DWARF mini ($419) cost less but come without a tripod, and the mini makes 2-megapixel pictures.
