Which Cricut Should You Buy? Joy 2, Explore 5, Maker 5
For a first Cricut, the Explore 5 ($199 machine only on Cricut's US store) cuts vinyl, iron-on, cardstock and sticker paper, with Cricut's mat-free rolls up to 11.7 inches wide. The $99 Joy 2 suits cards, labels and small decals, and the $349 Maker 5 adds fabric, engraving and 3 mm materials with extra tools. Design Space, the app that runs them, is free; Cricut Access is optional.
